Recreational Driver Training

BORDA Standard Recreational 4x4 Driver training at The Scottish Off Road Driving Centre

For BORDA training or you should bring your own 4x4 and enjoy our really wild terrain with encouraging guidance from our instructor.

We start with a comprehensive guide to the vehicle and its controls, done inside the vehicle for about 10 minutes. Then it is off to our grassland area for some simple manouvers using the 4x4 systems, this grassland area is also used for the very exciting downhill emergency stop. Onto the 4x4 driving site next starting with up and down hills and moving onto our steeper areas.

We keep our tutored sessions safe but challenging, gradually building up the tempo as the trainees skill and ability improves allowing us to take on our most challenging obstacles.
